Anti social personality disorder is defined as a pattern of disregard and violation of basic human rights of others. In the documentary it talks about how Gacy would drive 60+ miles an hour down neighborhood and city streets with no concern that he might hit something or someone. This showed how he did not have regard for the rules and did not feel like they applied to him. Also in the documentary, the investigators and police said that he showed no remorse or guilt when they were tearing his house apart looking for bodies. And later, as his exectution got closer, he started to make up these weird excuses about how he did not commit the murders. Again, thinking the rules do not apply to him. Another symptom that Gacy expressed was that he was cunning an sneaky. When he killed his last victim it was accomplished by luring the teen in by offering him a construction job. They boy was interested and therefore met with Gacy and then Gacy murdered him. However, on the other hand, Gacy did not possess the quality of not planning ahead. He always thought about how he was going to kill and torture his victims and lure them in. He also thought ahead in the fact that he had his crawl space dug out to accommodate more bodies. This also displays how he was sneaky and clever because he was able to convince the workers he needed it dug out due to flooding issues and they never found out why he was really having the work done.

Antisocial Personality Disorder is a disorder that involves a lasting pattern of disregard for other people’s rights. People with this disorder often have a blatant disregard for other’s personal rights. Some of the symptoms are deception, impulsiveness, aggressiveness, and lack of remorse.
John Wayne Gacy is a man who fit the profile for Antisocial Personality Disorder. He used deception to trick his victims into going to his home. His impulsivity is revealed in the fact that he got the idea to steal young boys in his head and never stopped to think about possible repercussions. Aggression was well hidden in Gacy’s life because to the rest of the world, he looked like the model citizen. He seemed like a loving father, but really he had a dark side that took out his aggression on young runaway boys. Even after being in jail for 13 years, he still says that he is innocent. His lack of remorse is seen in his aggression towards the families of the young boys and the young boys themselves when he is interviewed about the case.

John Wayne Gacy fits the the description of someone with Antisocial Personality Disorder. Some of these Symptoms Gacy had were a superficial charm. A lot of people the Gacy knew thought he was an amazing guy and involved with the community. Gacy also showed reckless disregard for safety of self or others. This could be shown most of when Gacy would speed anywhere he went. He showed aggression which he took out on young boys when he killed them. Even after being in jail for so long he still says that he is innocent. Gacy's lack of remorse is seen in his aggression towards the families of the young boys and the young boys themselves when he is interviewed about the case.

Antisocial personality disorder is when a person suffers from long patterns of manipulating, exploiting, and violating the rights of others. Common symptoms of antisocial personality disorders are repetitive law breaking, lack of remorse, no regard for the safety of others and very flattery and charming appearance. John Wayne Gacy illustrated all of these symptoms throughout his period of serial killing. Gacy would repeatedly break the law, for example he was arrested for having sexual relations with a young boy. He would drive recklessly and way over the speed limit with no regard for his safety or others on the road. Most of the young men he killed, he was charming and used flattery to lure them into his car or trick them into working for him. The biggest symptom Gacy showed was his lack of remorse. After he got caught for his serial killing he had no remorse for killing the young boys and wasn’t apologetic at all.

John Wayne Gacy suffered from antisocial personality disorder, which is a mental health condition in which a person has a long-term pattern of manipulating, exploiting, or violating the rights of others. This behavior often results in a certain crime. Some symptoms of this disorder would be impulsivvness, disregard for the safety of self and others, breaking the law, deception, and not showing guilt or remorse. An example of his disregard for himself and others would be his aggressivness which led him to kidnapping little boys in a sneaky way. An example of Gacy's lack of remorse would be when he would carefully plan the capture of his victims anf carry out his murders without any guilt or second thought. Even when he was in jail he was in denial that what he did was wrong. An example of his deception would be him lying to his victims by offering them construction jobs and also lying to the construction workers to dig trenches under his house becasue of "flooding problems". Gacy also thought he was invincible to the law so he would speed through neighborhoods recklessly, with no concern for anyone or anything. He also made everyone else around him like friends and family think he was normal but really he was a impulssive, manipulative murderer. Even when he was on deathrow he still believed he was right and he did nothing wrong. Basically he was a sick you know what....Serial Killer.

Antisocial personality disorder is characterized by a long-standing pattern of a disregard for other people’s rights, often crossing the line and violating those rights. John Wayne Gacy was one of the people who suffered from this disorder and was himself a serial killer. One symptom of antisocial personality disorder that Gacy seemed to have was deception, such as repeatedly lying. He would trick boys to make them think that he was a cop and would tell them to get in the back of his car. Then, he would take them to a secret place and show them a cool “trick” where the boys would handcuff themselves then he would have the key in his hand. He would then sexually abuse them and then possibly kill them. Another symptom Gacy had was reckless disregard for safety of self or others. Gacy would commit some of these murders in his house, with his neighbors right next door. He didn’t care how his actions could put other people in danger. Lack of remorse is another symptom of the disorder that Gacy had. He felt no sadness at murdering innocent people. I think in the documentary a person mentioned that Gacy had no change in emotion on his face when he admitted to his murders. It doesn’t affect him at all. One last symptom is Gacy’s impulsiveness. Gacy would plan ahead, unlike other people who suffer from antisocial personality disorder, but he seemed to go after anyone he could get his hands on, especially young boys.

Anti social personality disorder is when a person has a pattern of showing disregard for another’s rights and usually crosses the line and violates those rights. Signs and symptoms of this disorder are recklessness, denial, irritability and aggressiveness, and deception. John Gacy was reckless; he would drive excessively over the speed limit. Gacy was also in denial. When questioned, he would tell reporters and officials that he did not kill all of these people even though they were being found underneath the ground of his house. Gacy was an irritable and aggressive man. He did not just kill one person, he was a serial killer. He was aggressive in his actions and killed many innocent young men. Gacy was also a very deceptive man. He had no feelings of remorse and killed the young men by making them think that they he was a police officer, but really he was pulling them into his trap to kill them. Gacy portrayed many symptoms of anti social personality disorder as a serial killer.

Antisocial personality disorder is as mental illness in which the person has a pattern of disregard for other people's rights and has violated those rights. John Wayne Gacy had antisocial personality disorder and was known for his deception, repeated lying, disregard for other's safety, and lack of remorse. He was deceptive when he lied to the boys telling them he was a police officer. He kept lying to them when he told them to put the handcuffs on themselves so the he could show them a trick, but he didn't. He disregarded the boy's safety when he tied a rope around their necks and began strangling them. The most obvious part of his disorder was his lack of remorse. Even after he finally confessed, he still was not sorry for their deaths because he had no regard for them on the first place.

A sociopath is a person with an established pattern of preforming acts that ignore the rights of others and usually violate the rights of others. John Wayne Gacy is no exception to this rule. Some of the symptoms of a sociopath are recklessness, disregard for the law, disregard for safety, lack of remorse, or repeated lying. He lured young boys in using his construction business. Before Gacy ever started killing he would just kidnap people and take them to his house a torture them. This shows how he was impulsive and did not care about the rights of others. Gacy would often speed down streets in excess for no other reason then the fact that he could. Gacy also lied about his affiliation with Rob Piest when asked if he knew him even when several people had seen him talking with him on other days. In past years Gacy also had a sodomy charge so you'd think he would not even be allowed to be near kids. Gacy was also impulsive but at the same time he wasn't. He would kidnap people on a whim, but he would have a careful plan of what to do with them afterwards. Gacy killed over 33 people and when he was finally caught he confessed and as the police talked to him they expected to see some remorse for his activities, but there was none. The way Gacy was able to overpower people was that he pretended to be a police officer and convinced people to handcuff themselves. A personal note if you actually handcuff yourself you're and idiot in my book, but I digress. It doesn't change the fact that the things Gacy did were monstrous. His psychopathy was evident in his last years in prison. Suddenly he claims that he didn't do it, yea right he knew exactly where the people were buried and could draw his house from memory, but yea he didn't do it. Gacy was not successful in his appeals to avoid death.

Anti-social personality disorder is when someone has a complete disregard of basic human rights. One way that Gacy would show this is when in his neighborhood, he would speed through the streets, while the speed limit was only in the 30's.

Antisocial personality disorder is as mental illness in which the person has a pattern of disregard for other people's rights and has no remorse for disregarding those rights. John wayne Gacy was a prime example of APD. Gacy would lie to teenage boys, take them captive, torture and sexualy abuse them, and finally kill them. He did this more then 30 times. Even when convicted, Gacy showed no remorse, only displaying APD even more.

Antisocial Personality Disorder is when someone is capable of violent acts without feeling guilt for it and shows a continuous pattern of violence. Symptoms of this disorder are things like persistent manipulation and lying, impulsive acts, no concern for safety and lack of remorse. John Wayne Gacy murdered atleast 33 young boys/men. Gacy manipulated young boys by doing things like driving around in a cop car telling them he would show them a handcuff trick if they got in the car. His lying was persistent with luring the young boys in as well as when he was caught, he continuously lied to the police and always had some way of getting out of trouble. He was impulsive in a way that he never thought twice about killing these innocent people, he received pleasure over this. Gacy showed no regard to the law or rules and usually drove over 60 miles per hour down city streets, without caring about his safety or anyone elses. Gacy's lack of remorse was evident in his prison interview after he had been caught for these 33 murders and he acted like he had done absolutely nothing wrong.

Antisocial Personality Disorder is defined as being a long standing pattern of a disregard for other people's rights. In the documentary about John Wayne Gacy we are shown some of the characterists and symptoms to his disorder. Gacy was very decpted, he would make up lies and stories on how he did not kill innocent people and it had gotten so bad that he soon started to believe his own stories. He would trick his victims into believing that he was a construction worker just so that he could kill them. When Gacy was first arrested for a killing, he still saw himself as being innocent. For some odd reason he believed that he was above all social norms. He had disregard of all sorts of safety rules and when he was questioned by detectives it was almost like he suffered from multiple personality disorder also. He would speak to them like he did nothing was unaware of what was going on. He showed no sense of sorrow or remorse for all the families that he had destroyed by killing there young son or grandson only thing that Gacy was thinking about was his own satification.

Antisocial personality disorder is characterized by long standing pattern of a disregard for other peoples rights. IT makes you often cross the line and violate peoples rights. It is also referred to as psychopathy or sociopath. John Gacy had no regard for other peoples rights for example he would go over 60 in a downtown area or neighborhood with no regard to pedestrians/children. Another symptom/sign is he was not remorseful at all. Even once he was caught he was not apologetic or sincere at all. Gacy was also very deceptive. He would trick young boys into putting handcuffs on so he could easy manipulate them. The fourth sign is he was very aggressive. He murdered 30+ young boys, that is aggressive. He overpowered them, tortured them sexually and then finally murdered them.

Another sign is a grandiose sense of self worth. He had an air about him that he wasn't guilty and he was better than others. When a woman said that he should have 33 injections, he said he would kill her.

Anti-Personality Disorder is when a person has a long term pattern of manipulating or violiting the rights of other people. They only think about their own interest.

Some of the symptoms that Gacy had were disregaurd for right and wrong in which he obviously had no regaurd for what was right and wrong when he was molesting and kiling young boys.
Repeatedly violiting rights of others, molesting and forcing young boys to do innappropriate things with him.
and Lack of remorse about harming others, Gacy had no guilt and no remorse of his actions. He had a smile on his face much of the time and was never remorseful for his poor actions.

Anti-Social Personality disorders is a long pattern of a disregard for other people’s rights, often crossing the line and violating those rights. With this disorder come a lot of symptoms such as failure to conform to social norms, deception by lying, irritability and aggressiveness and lack of remorse. Gacy was very deceptive by luring his victims back to his house for sexual reasons or for a promised employment. He also convinced people that he was a police officer and to handcuff themselves and after doing so, Gacy would take them back to his house and murder them. When Gacy was first arrested he showed a lack of remorse and thought that he was above and beyond the social norm of others. Before Gacy began his killing spree, he went and kidnapped people torturing them almost to their death. This showed his impulsiveness and that he didn’t care for other people. Gacy kidnapped these people on the spur of the moment but he would plan ahead of time what exactly he would do with them afterwards. Gacy would drive an excessive amount over the speed limit on city roads not being concerned on whether or not he would hit someone.
